Nasci em São Paulo e por lá vivi até mudar de país. Chegar a Portugal foi conhecer outra escala de cidade e de cotidiano.I was born in São Paulo and lived there until I moved abroad. Arriving in Portugal meant discovering a different scale of city and everyday life.
Para dar uma ideia dessa diferença: em 2025, Portugal tinha cerca de 11,4 milhões de habitantes, enquanto a região metropolitana de São Paulo reunia cerca de 21,6 milhões. É um país inteiro com pouco mais da metade da população da metrópole de onde vim.To put that difference in perspective: in 2025, Portugal had around 11.4 million residents, while the São Paulo metropolitan area had around 21.6 million. An entire country with a little over half the population of the metropolis I came from.
Os números ajudam a dimensionar a mudança, mas não contam tudo.
